Canadian music icon Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Monday, September 28, delivering a performance that thrilled spectators at L’Oréal Paris’ annual fashion show.

Dion appeared at the end of the show beneath the Eiffel Tower, stepping onto the runway in an elegant black gown as the audience welcomed her with loud applause.

The award-winning singer performed her 2002 hit “I’m Alive”, bringing a musical finale to an event that featured several prominent figures from the global fashion and entertainment industries.

Dion was later joined on the runway by fellow L’Oréal ambassadors, including Hollywood stars Viola Davis and Eva Longoria, as well as Simone Ashley and Aja Naomi King.

The appearance comes as Dion continues her return to live performances following a period away from the stage. She has scheduled a series of concerts in Paris, with performances planned across September and October and additional dates scheduled for May 2027.

The singer’s appearance also adds to her growing presence in Paris, where she has maintained a strong connection with French audiences throughout her career. Her surprise performance at the fashion event further placed her among the major entertainment personalities featured during the fashion week programme.

Paris Fashion Week’s women’s Spring/Summer 2027 programme is scheduled to run through October 6, with major fashion houses including Dior, Tom Ford, Schiaparelli and Givenchy among those presenting their latest collections during the event.
