Swift Telephone Network Limited (STN) has unveiled its telephone numbering ranges as the Nigerian telecommunications company prepares to expand its operations following the acquisition of a Unified Access Service Licence from the Nigerian Communications Commission.

The NCC’s national numbering plan lists STN’s 0201 343, 0201 344, 0201 345, 0201 346, 0201 347 and 0201 348 ranges, with each block allocated 10,000 numbers.

The company received its UASL from the NCC with effect from October 1, 2026, giving it authorisation to provide a broad range of telecommunications services, including voice, data, fixed and mobile services across Nigeria.

STN Chief Executive Officer, Oluwole Adetuyi, described the licence as a major milestone in the company’s development, saying the operator intends to build a telecommunications ecosystem around Nigerian talent, partnerships, innovation and digital infrastructure.

According to the company, it plans to train Nigerian engineers, technicians and other digital professionals while working with local vendors, contractors and small businesses. It also intends to collaborate with international technology providers to strengthen local technical capacity and expand digital infrastructure.

STN said digital inclusion would be another major focus of its expansion, particularly by extending infrastructure to underserved communities and helping to bridge Nigeria’s digital divide. The company also expects its operations to generate employment opportunities in areas including distribution, customer support and value-added services.

However, STN has not yet announced a specific date for nationwide commercial rollout, pricing plans or a detailed coverage map. The company said it would provide further information on strategic partnerships, infrastructure deployment and other commercial plans as it moves towards launching its services.
